The Vastness

Looking up at a starry sky

Contemplating the enormity of it all

Knowing one day I will die

Starlight glinting in my eyes

In the vastness, eternity calls

Such a small creature am I

Standing under the glimmering expanse

With wonder in my mind, I sigh

As the light dances in my eyes

I linger in this cosmic trance
